Misuse of user’s data, Facebook under investigation


Two years ago, when Donald Trump selected as American President, Facebook and Twitter were blamed to help the Donald Trump succeed.
Although Facebook and Twitter had directly rejected the allegations to the help of  Donald Trump, however, the Facebook and Twitter administration later acknowledged that their platforms were used for political purposes.
However, the latest news about this, that it has been confirmed that almost 5 million users' data in the world's largest social website Facebook was used incorrectly and politically in 2016.
After this news is being seen significantly reduced in Facebook's interest, and the company has now lost its loss of $ 60 billion (over Rs 60 billion).
The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) started investigating against Facebook after the report came out.
According to news agencies a company called 'Cambridge Antalya' (CA) used 5 million users' data for misuse and political purposes.
The offices of this company are available in the UK and the United States, the company is accused of spreading incorrect comments and analysis using 2016's personal data during the US election.
After receiving the news, Alexander Nix, chief executive officer of Cambridge Antalya Consultancy Company, was removed from the post.
The report shows that the Donald Trump's election campaign team received the services of Cambridge Antalka in 2016, while the company started consulting with $ 1.5 billion in 2014.
After the news came out, American and British lawmakers and investigations were angry and according to the BBC, the investigation was launched in the United States immediately against Facebook.
Federal Trade Commission, working with US consumer data protection, started a quick investigation against Facebook.
After the news of the investigation started against Facebook and its 5 million users' data was misused, surprisingly it was worth a loss of US $ 60 billion (over Pakistani rupees over 60) in a few hours. .
