HMD Global, the Finnish handset maker responsible for
Nokia-branded smartphones, at MWC 2018 expanded its line up with as many as
four smartphones – Nokia 1, new Nokia 6, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco. Out
of these, the firm is all set to launch the latter three in India. HMD Global
will be unveiling these devices in an event in New Delhi, India. All three
handsets run Android One (Oreo 8.1) and are likely to be placed strategically
in different segments based on their specifications.
The company is unlikely to launch the ‘Banana’ 8110 4G
feature phone in this particular event. In case you are not able to attend the
event in person, it is possible to see the live stream of the event. HMD will
be doing a Facebook Live video for the event.
