According to Twitter, changes in privacy settings are being made for users' ease, so that they can be aware that how the Twitter Company uses their data.
This change has been done for the British Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) principle so that the company's design policy can be easily understood.
Under the newly updated privacy settings, users will be authorized to make any of the information they contain on Twitter or to keep them confidential.
A senior twitter administrator Demon Keyren wrote in a blog post, "We are working hard to protect the privacy of consumers who are using daily Twitter."
He said that we believe the user should know how we are using whatever we are trying to do.
He said that the most important thing is that its aim is to maintain strong control over the user's privacy.
Twitter company has made this update for consumers around the world, which will apply from May 25 next month.
